Heimdall runs a TAK Server on-site, feeding standard ATAK/WinTAK — the same software agencies already use — with fire detection, aircraft, lightning, weather, cameras, and infrastructure status fused into one live map. It's locally hosted, so it keeps working with no internet on site — not a cloud dashboard that goes dark the moment satellite service drops. Everything below feeds into this one picture.
Managed WiFi
Built for the ICP, staging area, or command post — one network for IMT planning software and laptops, another for crew and public access, and a separate lane for law enforcement or other responding agencies on-site. Heimdall Field Networks is a single-operator field communications company based in Shoshone, Idaho, at the center of the ID-SCC dispatch zone. Two decades of telecommunications infrastructure experience — fiber, wireless backhaul, and land-mobile radio — went into building a field kit that one person can deploy without waiting on a second vendor for each layer of the stack.
Being local to Lincoln County means shorter mobilization times than vendors based out of Boise or eastern Idaho, and working familiarity with the terrain, agencies, and radio infrastructure already in place across south-central Idaho.
